Silas Brown Obituary

Silas Evester Brown was born to Emma Foster Brown and Paul B. Brown. After a long illness, he departed this life in the hospital in Richmond, VA. A memorial service was held on May 15, 2018 at the Minor B. Eggleston Chapel, Farmville, VA.
At an early age Silas was baptized at Union Baptist Church in Farmville. He later married Christine Lee Toney. He can be lovingly remembered for his joy in helping people.
Silas was preceded in death by his parents Emma and Paul Brown Sr; Ellen Wilson Brown; grandmother Ollie Foster and brother Mark Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Christine; stepchildren David and Shena Toney; twin brother Paul (Stella); aunts Gloria Foster and Tina Brown; sisters-in-law Marie Brown, Bernice VanRomondt (Percell) and Stella Allen; brother-in-law Paul Lee, Jr.; Kimberly Foster, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
