Bettie M. Jones

Bettie M. Jones born to Shirley Leroy Jackson and Rowena Grissom Jackson on April 14th in Creedmoor, Granville County North Carolina.  Evangelist Bettie Jones was active in her community always willing to help those in need.  she was known for her giving nature,  Bettie served on several volunteer organizations working with the sick and shut in and the food bank.  She was a strong advocate for the elderly spending time in nursing homes and constantly donating food and clothing.  Evangelist Jones had 6 children: Jethro Jones Jr.(deceased 2007), Mary Jones, Gloria Watts, Shirley Parker, Bernice Huffman and Nicole Jones.  She will be remembered by several grandchildren: Milton L. Jones (deceased), Mario & Caryn Jones, Lea Huffman, Kendra Jones, Hyder & Rachelle Cureton, Raethema Jones, Kyle Jones, William Holmes, Jasmine Barns, Latrice Huffman (Deceased), 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  She was also blessed with her God given family members, Alfonzo Trent, David Daniels, Leon Brown and Isaac Trent.  As well as a host of friends and other loved ones.  She has gone home to be with the mother of her heart the beloved Dottie Osbourne.
