Billie W. White

On April 11th Billy West Whit, Sr. closed his eyes and departed from us at The Woodland in Farmville, VA.  He was born on October 26, 1949 in Cumberland, VA. to the late Charles Irving White and Lucy Blanton-White.  Bill attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, he learned the truth from his mother at an early age.  His favorite scripture was John 5:28-29 KJV.  He was proceed in death by his parents Charles I. White and Lucy Blanton-White, his brothers Jonny, Phillip, Charles White, Lindsey and his sister Dorothy, Rose (Eddie) and his sister in law Gertrude White (Charles), Albertha White (Phillip Lee), Ruby White (Roosevelt).

Billy leaves behind his lovely family of 49 years consisting of his devoted wife Darlene White, his kids Tunisia White, Billy White Jr, Lance White, Kiana White (Kiki) a host of grandchildren family and friends.  Billy left many marks, memories and soft spots in the hearts of all who knew him to have known him was a cherished gift; as his heart was always giving to others and always forgiving.  He would always be remembered as the family's historian as he knew most of the family's history and was always willing to share stories with those who would listen.  His sweet potato pies touched the tastebuds of many.  Although he fussed about peeling those sweet potatoes for those pies, they were always the centerpiece of the table.  He always knew how to gather his family and friends to have unforgettable laughter and memories as well as creating unbreakable bonds between his nieces, nephews and friends that he leaves behind.
