Charles Vaughan entered his eternal rest on Monday, December 21, 2020 at his home, in Green Bay, VA. Charles was born July 31st to the late James Vaughan Sr. and Christine Warren Vaughan of Green Bay, VA. He attended Prince Edward County Schools and graduated from Prince Edward County High School. Charles accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and became a member of the Mt. Zion Second Baptist Church. He was employed with several construction companies: Manning Construction Inc., Bat Masonry, M.H. Masonry--for 25 years as a Laborer and Brick Layer. He was a quiet and calm person. In his spare time, he loved visiting with family and friends, and watching television. He loved sports with football and basketball being his favorites. His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Sr and Christine Warren Vaughan and brother James Vaughan, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories; one son, Marquis Brown, of Cumberland, VA, two daughters: Deandra Brown of Richmond, VA. and Jaiona Vaughan of Buckingham, VA, three grandchildren, seven sisters; Alfreda Gilliam, Connie Berrydale, Brenda Walton (Alonzo), Margaret Harris (Linwood), and Priscilla Woolridge (Aubrey) all of Farmville, VA., one uncle; Raymond Warren of Meherrin, VA., one aunt; Adell Lewis (Ulysses) of Baltimore, MD., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
