Doris M Scott

Doris M. Scott was born to Ed and Lucy S. Nunnally on November 21st in Prince Edward County, Virginia.  After a lengthy illness she departed this life on August 11, 2020 at Southside Hospital in Farmville, VA.  Doris was educated in Prince Edward Schools.  She married James R. Scott on November 2, 1944.  To this union, two children were born.  One preceded her in death, Preston "B" Scott.

She also worked at Stack Pole in Farmville, VA for many years.  Doris loved to entertain her friends and family with lots of good homestyle cooking, her kitchen was her favorite place to be; baking cakes, pies, bread, potato salad, corn pudding and etc...  

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving devoted daughter, Ann, like a son, Mike Schaeffer, like a daughter, Yvonne Brown; two grandchildren, Charla Hughes, Cameron Hughes and Chase Jones; one grandson-in-law, Charles E. Hughes, III; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
