Fredric A. Style, affectionately known as "sim", entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Del Sol Medication Center in El Paso, TX. He was born on July 21 in Prince Edward County to the late Arsenia and Althea Style. At an early age, Fredric was baptized at Sulphur Spring Baptist Church in Prospect, VA. He attended Prince Edward County Schools until 1952 when the schools were closed. In 1963, he joined the United States Army where he worked as a Missile Technician. He served his country for 24 years in the U.S. Army and attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Upon retirement, Fredric worked as a Department of Defense Contractor specializing in Threat Support Activity. He later worked for the Department of Army as a civilian in the Department of Training and Development at Fort Bliss, Texas.
In addition to his parents, Fredric was preceded in death by his sister Barbra Jackson, brother Edwin Leon Style, Cedric Style, and Talbert Style. Fredric made lasting friendships wherever he went. He had an outgoing personality and a great love for family. He leaves to cherish his memories 2 daughters: Sharon Tucker (David) of Euless, TX, Michelle Rodriquez of Carson, CA; 1 sister Shirley Carr of Lynchburg, Virginia; 1 brother, Carl Style of Prospect, Virginia; 4 grandchildren, Kaalyn Tucker, Eliana, Khalil Brown, Eliana Hargrove (Jeffrey) and Kamron Bradley; 2 great-grandchildren; Brandon and Justin Hargrove; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
