Fredrick Goubile Obituary

Fredrick Joseph Goubile was born on December 29, 1956 to Rayfield and Hannah Goubile in Mobile, AL. He departed this life on March 21, 2021 at MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. Fred was educated at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School and Fairhope Alabama High School where he was on the football team and graduated in 1975. He attended college for two years at Jackson State University and worked at Bill Steber Auto before joining the U.S. Army in 1984. His tours of duty included Germany, Korea (where he became a Mason), and Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm. After being honorably discharged in 1994, he worked for Telemedia and Charter Communications and retired from Farmville Area Bus in February 2016. Fred loved music, gardening, spending time with family and friends, RV traveling, and fishing from his boat in Alabama. He also enjoyed watching westerns and Alabama Crimson Tide football and the San Francisco 49ers. Fred was preceded in death by his father: Rayfield Goubile, Sr. and brother: Rayfield Goubile, Jr.; his father -in -law: George M. Lee; brothers -in -law: Gilbert Lee and George "Stew" Lee. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Mrs. Hannah Goubile, of Fairhope AL; wife of 28 years: Linda Goubile; son: Fredrick Charles “Chuckie” Goubile (Doris) of Japan; daughter: Erika Weber (Erin) and grandchildren: Aiden and Rohan of Gulf Shores, AL; brothers: Yvonne Langham (Dee Dee) of Sacramento, CA; Ronnie Langham (Debra) of Fairhope, AL; Robert Goubile (Sandra) of Fayetteville, NC; sister: Lisa Goubile of Fairhope, AL; six aunts: Rosia James of Mobile, AL; Gladys Pickett of Fairhope, AL; Rosa Langham and Dorothy Langham of Harvey, IL; Rita Langham of Mobile, AL; Deloris Langham of Fort Worth, TX; brothers -in - law: Clarence Lee and James Lee; sisters -in -law: Carolyn Skates, Shirley Washington, and Joyce Copeland; special friends: Thomas and Fontella Lewis and Ronnie Owens; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
