Helen Cupidore

It is with deep sadness that the family of Helen Cupidore announce her passing. Helen will be met in the afterlife by her husband Laurie Cupidore, son Lawrence Cupidore and daughter Doreen Hawkins.

Helen Hawkins was born on October 27th 1938 to Jenny Roper and James Green in NYC. Helen worked in the housekeeping business at Harlem Hospital. In her years in New York, she gave birth to a son named Kevin Capers, two daughters Diane Campbell and Doreen Hawkins (deceased).

 In 1991 she met and married Laurie Cupidore after that union she had another son Lawrence Cupidore (deceased). In 1992 Helen and Laurie decided to relocate to Rice Virginia to be closer to her family. At that time Helen began working at Walmart where she retired after 10 years. Helen was a strong woman that overcame many disappointments and loss in her life. Still, she continued to be strong, independent, and always had a positive outlook on life. Helen will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son Kevin Capers, (his wife) Antoinette James and her daughter Diane Campbell.

Grandchildren; Antonne Mobley, Chris Campbell, Jasmine Capers, Quincy Capers, Reggie Love, and Brittany Hawkins.

Great-grands; Dajur Mobley, Chantell Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Camren Campbell, Cayden Campbell, Christian Campbell, Carter Campbell, Jahiem Jerman, Skylar Pigford, Jordyn Pigford, and King Love.
