Henrietta Anna Alston was born May 3, 1933 to the late Eugene, Sr. and Gladys Simmons in Montclair NJ. She was a member of Saint Paul Baptist Church in Montclair NJ. She served on the Women Community Circle, the Usher Board, and Missions Board,
and drove the bus for the senior citizens at the church. In 1995, she moved to Oxford NC and became a member of New Hope. Then she became a member of Wheatstone Baptist Church. She moved to Beaverton OR in July of 2004. In June of 2005, she moved to Burkeville, VA to be near family. In May 2006, she joined High Rock Church, of which she became a member on September 24, 2006. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mechell Simmons and her brother, Ronald Simmons. God called her home to rest, Henrietta was dearly love by many who really knew her. She leaves to cherish her precious memory. 2 sons; Anthony J. Green of West Orange, NJ and Lonell Green of Beaverton OR; 1 brother, Eugene Simmons of Glen DE; 6 grandchildren,19 great grandchildren, a host of relatives, friends and a special friend Mrs. Lucy M. Jackson.
