Joe Edward Love was born on June 28th to the late Willis and Emma Love in Crewe, Virginia. Limited with a disability at an early age, it never prevented Joe from being and doing the best he could. "Uncle Joe", as he was lovingly known, worked on the railroads and was one of the best handymans' ever! Instilled with the love of God from birth, you could always find him in Sunday services whether it was in Virginia or Brooklyn, or New York were he lived. he enjoyed singing in the choir at his church, "America Come back to God in Brooklyn."
Although he produced no biological children, Uncle Joe is love by his many nieces, nephews, step-children and their children. Joe was preceded in death by his brothers; Willis (Kathleen), Caesar and wife, Joyce. Joe transitioned into God's care on February 25, 2021 peacefully while sleeping. Left to cherish his life are his sister: Doris L. Foster, Uncle: David Ransome, Aunt: Bessie Ransome, ex-wife: Gladys Fulton, two sister in laws: Gloria and Rossalind, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
