LaDesha Anquasha Hughes was born in Prince Edward County on June 24, 1983, to Laura A. Hughes and the late Raymond A. Hughes. She departed this life, December 30, 2021, at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, Virginia.
She was baptized at Forest Baptist Church at an early age. At the time of her death, she had been living in Farmville, VA battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer. LaDesha was a kind and loving person and always in the company of family and friends. Her passions were shopping, having fun, social media, spending time with her two children and her all-time favorite thing to do was dancing.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a special friend Lionel Brown, two children: Jaylen and Jaliyah Eppes. Her Mother, Laura A. Hughes (Earl); sister: LaDonia A. Mujahid (Mikiel); Three brothers: Delonta A. Hughes (Alana); Daymond R. Hughes and Jordan Booker. Two nieces: Tasyanna and Akilah, and four nephews: NaShan, Sajid, Yaaseen and Ismail.
LaDesha touched the hearts of many and was blessed with four godmothers Angela Walton, Darlene Walker, Rita Hurt and Angee Booker. A host of aunts and uncles, two of whom she was very fond of (Sarah Sprague and Julia Hatcher) and many cousins, that she adored and many special friends.
