Lamonte Devon Spencer "Scooder" AKA "Tuloop" was the son of Donaldo Harris, Sr. and LaChelle Spencer. He was born on November 15th in Rocky Mount, NC and departed this life suddenly on December 7th. Lamonte accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist in Rich Square, NC. Lamonte graduated with honors from Southampton County High in Courtland, VA and attended First Coast High in Jacksonville, FL. While in high school, he participated in several extracurricular activities. His love for football and academic honors afforded him a scholarship to Elizabeth City University. Lamonte's love for his family was exceptional and could only be matched by their love for him. He enjoyed dancing, making family laugh, and hanging out with friends. His love for clothes was extravagant and everything had to match and have a label. As many would say, he had champagne taste with a beer budget, but you better believe Lamonte would go to family and say, "come on now you trippin' or you know you got that.!" He had a special gift of communication and was an Entrepreneur at heart.
He is survived in love and life by his mother, LaChelle Spencer; father and bonus mom, Donaldo and Nefertiti Harris; Siblings Latoya Spencer, Donniesha, Elora, Neriah and Donaldo Harris, Jr.; Godparents Lisa Buffaloe-Jones and Malinda Edwards; Sister/Cousin Cherryia White; Special Cousins; Spencer-Eubanks and Tiffany Spencer-Ester. He is also greatly loved by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, James and Annie Harris, Haywood and Ethel Smith, Jesse and Frances Spencer, William and Maggie White, Pocahontas and Evelyn Spencer; and his Godfather Hubert Edwards.
