Margaret King-White daughter of Thomas King and Julia Bronston was born in Lexington Kentucky. On Sunday, February 2, 2020, Almighty God in his infinite wisdom very peacefully and gently closed the eyes of our beloved "Marge". Margaret was educated in the Philadelphia school system. Margaret married Gilbert White on August of 1991 and were together for over 40 years. Margaret worked in West Virginia as a counselor in a drug rehabilitation facility and moved to New York where she worked as a barmaid, model and a jazz singer. Margaret then moved to to Philadelphia to manage her brother's supermarket "King Supermarket." Maraget was dearly loved by her family. She loved spending time with her family. She was dedicated neighbor and friend. She treated everyone with kindness and respect at all times. She loved to cook and some of her favorite dishes; sweet potato pie pecan pie macaroni and cheese and collard greens were her favorites to cook. Another pasttime was her love for writing and at times would write articles for the Burlington County Times. Margaret was proceeded in death by her father and mother, sister Helen and three brothers, Joe, Sylvester and William. Margaret will truly be missed and leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Gilbert, her children Stanley, Melody (Gilbert), April (Brian) and Malik. Granddaughter Julia (Bill) 4 grandchildren Darius, Briana, Brandi and Brian Jr., great grandchildrend, Grace Gloria and Makayla, sister in law Gwen and niece Felice of Farmville Va and a host of nieces nephews cousins and extended family and friends.
