Obituary
Gently and peacefully our family circle was broken on December 20, 2022. The sweet spirit of our dear Mary went to join her sons, parents, siblings, and the Saviour to a home not built with hands, but whose maker and builder is God.
"Elizabeth" as some family called her spent her formative years in Petersburg on Shore St. with her family. She was born to the late Willie Lawrence Beverly and Alberta Trent Beverly on August 21, 1954.
Peaches as she was fondly called received her education through the Petersburg City School System graduating in June of 1973. Mary furthered her education in the field of nursing and served many clients until her retirement on disability from The Petersburg Community Service Board. She was always considered a hard worker by her colleagues and family.
Mary was a true mother and friend to many especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews... She loved her church, family, community, job, patients and friends. Peaches proved this with her constant sharing and giving without asking for anything in return.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings:
Jeanette, Nancy, Calvin, Roberta, James, William, Estelle, and Lawrence. Her children; that she loved unconditionally Prince and Anthony Moore;- and her nephew, Corbett.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a brother; Wilbur, her grandchildren: Prince Jr., Rushun, Diamond, Rasheem, Kaeela, Mickell, Sanaa, Saniya, Sanasia, great grand children: Markael and Markaela; nieces and nephews among them devoted (Jasmine), Ronnie (Denise), Termaine; daughter in law Shenika Moore, cousins among them the devoted Beverly Cousin Clan, a host of other loving caring relatives and supportive friends Kelly Wilkins, Barbara Davis, Vicky Brown, Promedica Unit 2 Nurses and staff,. her extended family at ProMedica Nursing Facility, Mechanicsville DaVita Dialysis and Millie Brown and Church.
