Mrs. Mattie E. Bolden White

Mattie E. Bolden White was called home on   Friday, June 8, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA.  A memorial service was held on August 25, 2018 at the Minor B. Eggleston Chapel in Farmville, VA.

Mattie was born July 9, 1939 in Amelia County, Virginia. She attended and graduated from the Russell Grove High School. She joined Amelia Baptist Church in Rice, VA and served as adeaconess.

Mattie was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Rufus M. White and her parents, Richard and Mary Bolden.

She leaves to mourn precious memories a daughter: Damico White from Bedford, VA.; one sister: Catherine Logan from Richmond, VA.; three brothers: Payton Bolden from Amelia, VA., Larry Bolden from Chester, VA., and Lonnie Bolden from Crewe, VA., one brother-in-law: George I. Logan Sr. from Richmond, VA. and one sister-in-law: Michelle C. Bolden from Chester, VA. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
