Nannie "Bea" Dove

Your Life was a Blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure

On December 9,2024 our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt Nannie Beatrice (Bea) Ford- Dove went home to be with the lord.

Bea was born in Prince Edward County to John and Mary Jean Ford on May 1,1951. At an early age, she accepted Christ and joined Peaks Baptist Church in Prospect, VA. After numerous years Bea transferred her membership to High Rock Baptist Church in Rice, VA. Where she joins the choir because she loved serving the Lord through song.

Bea attended Mary E Branch and R.R. Morton school in Prince Edward County. Bea worked at Stackpole/Carborne of America for a total of 44 years, and Hudson Industrial for 5 years. Sister Bea loved to travel, play softball, cook, play bingo and spend time with the family. For her relaxation she spends time in her beautiful flower gardens.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, late John S. and Mary Jean Ford.

Bea survived by loving husband Vernon Dove Sr., and two beloved and devoted children. In whom she always and stilled in them the Love of God and Family. Veronica Jordan (Michael) of Portsmouth, VA Vernon Dove Jr. (Danielle) of Halifax, VA. Five sisters Jennie Walker (Jerry Ray) of Prospect, VA Carrie Dove (Kenneth) of Rice, VA Charity Dove (Melvin) of Prospect, VA Mary Ford-Francis (John) of Burkeville, VA Ida Saunders (James) of Manassas, VA; Two brothers Samuel Ford, James Ford Sr. (Kathy) of Prospect, VA. Three grandchildren in which she loved very dearly Sharnice Jordan, Katera Anderson and Matthew Ryan Montgomery. Two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, five brothers-in-law and nine sisters-in-laws and friends.
