Pauline E. Taylor

Our hearts were deeply saddened to learn that our beloved Pauline Estelle Taylor, age 93, passed into the loving arms of God on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born on July 23, 1928 to the late Minis and Nannie Brown in Prince Edward County. At an early age Pauline was baptized at Peaks Baptist Church in Prospect, VA. She was educated in Prince Edward County. She always opened her heart and her home. She welcomed ALL as if they were her own, and she often put the needs of others before hers. Pauline’s favorite pastime was watching TV, especially Wheel of Fortune and Westerns. She also enjoyed cooking when she was able, and she kept up to date with the current events in the news. She was preceded in death by her late husband William Taylor, her son Michael M. Taylor, and nine siblings.

Pauline leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, James (Joe) Taylor of Buckingham, VA, and William (Mac) Taylor (Wanda) of Charlotte, NC, three daughters, Melinda Fisher of Decatur, GA, Patricia France (Keith) of Amelia, VA, and Wanda Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC. Five grandchildren: Deborah Jefferson, MacArthur “Boobie” Taylor, (the late) Tanya Taylor, Craig Haskins, Roshunda Hicks, and Keiston France. Seven great grandchildren: Tiara, Tiana,Tiasia, Edaisha, and Madisyn, MacArthur D. Taylor, Jr., and Donell M. Taylor. Six great greatgrandchildren: Ka’Leyah, Ayla, A’Mir, Daquan, A’Mhad, Elijah, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
