Rhonda Michelle Webb was born in Farmville, Virginia on June 19, 1972 to earnest Webb and Ruby (Watkins) Webb. She departed this life peacefully at her home on Friday, January 1, 2021 in Farmville, VA. Rhonda was a member of Passion Community Church in which she remained a faithful member. During her time there, she was assigned a classroom to teach the youth about the love of God.
Rhonda "Missy" Webb attended Prince Edward County Public Schools where she excelled academically. She was a selected member of the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools. Rhonda continued her education after high school. She attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree on May 19, 1996. Rhonda was very proud to be a Trojan, in college, Rhonda worked at New Creations Child Learning Center in Farmville, VA for countless years where she was the Director, She was very passionate and dedicated in her profession, New Creations was like her second home,. She later became a teacher at Fuqua School in Farmville, VA.
Rhonda had many gifts from God; but one of her most prevalent was her ability to educate and prepare children for grade school. Missy was very smart and creative during her life time and energy was dedicated to the to the growth and education of the children in her community. On February 18, 2019, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening, owning and operation her own child development center, Sunshine Smiles Child Learning Center in Farmville, VA. She worked hard to fulfill her dream and she did it! This facility, it's staff, the children and their parents were her pride and joy.
She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. Missy and Cindy were inseperaable. She was called "MeMe" by her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Rhonda was more than just their aunt MeMe, she was their second mom.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Her father: Earnest Webb, Her sister: Cynthia Watkins, Nephew: Kwame' Watkins (Shakejah), Nieces: Shanequa, Kwanequa, Tyhera Watkins. Great nephews and nieces: Za'Myra Younger, Kwamir, Kyrie Kash Watkins, K'Ceon and Kah'Ri Robinson. Her uncles: Bernard Watkins (Shirley), John Wesley Watkins, and Malcolm Watkins (Tammy), Aunt: Sheila Watkins, great aunt; Cora Bell Thornton, a host of cousins and friends, close friend Mary Ann Goode, bonus nephews: Terrence, James Jr., and Khalil. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby (Watkins) Webb, her sister, Angela Webb, grandparents; Lee and Mildred Watkins and Callie Webb; Uncle Leon Watkins Jr;, Aunts; Christine Hatcher, Dorothy Lewis, Louise Langhorne and her best friend Lojuanna Anderson.
