Rose Jackson Obituary

To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven” ……………Ecclesiastes 3:1

A Time to Be Born
Rose Marie Jackson was born on March 20, 1961, to the late Freddie and Elizabeth Robertson in Crewe, Virginia.
A Time to Plant
Rose was educated in the Nottoway County Public School System and graduated in 1979. She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Jackson; two sisters Dora Lavinia and Mary; four brothers John, Lonnie, Freddie, and James.
A Time to Embrace
At an early age she began her Christian walk at First Nottoway Baptist Church and Community Bible Church. She later moved her membership to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in South Boston, Virginia. She continued to dedicate her life to drawing closer to the Lord up until her last day.
A Time to Build
Rose married Ceasar Love in 1980 and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters Shantell Love-Hawkes and Deandra Love. Rose loved reading her bible, she loved sending inspirational messages daily, spending time with her family and working hard. Rose was a very hard worker and rarely missed a day of work prior to her March 2023 diagnosis of Leukemia. Having to stop
working was one of the most difficult things about this for her. She was a very dedicated and loyal worker at several factories in town: The Garment Factory, Gold Medal, Hudson Industries and Trout River. She retired from Yak Attack, Inc. in Farmville, Virginia. She truly enjoyed her work and all the good friends she acquired from each job.
A Time to Mourn
It was Saturday evening, November 4, 2023, when Rose quietly and peacefully answered God’s call to come home from her earthly residence in Crewe, Virginia.
A Time to Weep and A Time to Laugh
Rose leaves to celebrate and thank God for her two devoted and loving daughters; Shantell Love-Hawkes (Tyree ) of Blackstone, Virginia; Deandra Love (Aaron) of Crewe, Virginia; Four grandchildren; Shaniya Williams of Blackstone, Virginia; Tyree Hawkes Jr. (Nyaila) of Jacksonville, North Carolina; Demoni Mills of Crewe, Virginia; Tristyn Hawkes of Blackstone, Virginia; one great granddaughter Naylani Hawkes of Jacksonville, North Carolina; one bonus grandson; Vadell Evans of Pennsylvania; one bonus granddaughter Tre’Nika Shaw of Petersburg, Virginia; one bonus great grandson Xavier Evans of Pennsylvania; five sisters; Joan Hawkes; Patricia Smith; Dorothy Parham; Golorious Robertson all of Crewe, Virginia; Inetta Robertson of Chesterfield, Virginia; one brother in-law John Smith; of Amelia, Virginia; a host of devoted nieces, devoted nephews, cousins and friends.
