Samuel Leroy Bigelow

On Feb 5th 2025 Samuel L Bigelow passed away in death awaiting God’s call to life.
Sam was a man of great integrity, faith, and loyalty. He was born Sept. 16 th 1938 in Orange NJ. Sam started his
day with prayer each morning, always giving praise and thanks to Jehovah God for all his accomplishment.
He loved bowling, sports, classic cars and he loved to tell jokes. He served as a Deacon at the Calvary Baptist
Church. He retired from the Commercial Transportation Industry after 35 yrs of service.
Sam leaves a cherished legacy of precious memories. Devoted wife Kay Wilson Bigelow. His Children: Pamela
Diaz (husband-Richie Diaz), Angela Bigelow, Kevin Bigelow Hatcher (wife-Dawn Hatcher), Samuel Bigelow,
Jarrod Bigelow (wife-Erin Bigelow). Grandchildren: Doreen Diaz Poteete, Carlos Diaz, Ivan Diaz, Christopher
Bigelow, Ciara Bigelow. Also, he leaves behind a host of Great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren
and nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Sam Bigelow preceded his brothers in death: Andrew Hill, Leon Hill & Jimmy Hill. Sam was preceded in death
by his father Otis Bigelow and his mother Leola Womack Bigelow Hill.
