Tory Edmonds slipped away to be with her Savior on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was the daughter of Vennie Edmonds and the late Henry Junius Edmonds. Tory was born on May 30, 1977, in New Jersey and moved to Virginia in 1990. She continued her education in the Buckingham County school system. As a youth, Tory was baptized and became a member of the Ridgeway Baptist Church where she served on the youth chorus. Tory was a longtime employee of Wells Fargo Bank where the customers always looked for her big smile and kind-hearted spirit. She loved helping people.
Tory loved to travel shop and spend time with her family. Most of all, Tory loved her family. If you saw Tory, you would see her son, Jayden, by her side. She loved him more than anything. She was a great mother and always made sure her family was taken care of. She will truly be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Junius Edmonds.
She is survived by her mother, Vennie Edmonds; one son, Jayden Boxley; two brothers, Jerome Patterson (Eloise) and Marvin Edmonds; one sister, Cynthia Coles; special friend, Lamont Boxley, and his daugther, Dionna Welton–Boxley; one uncle, Lloyd Edmonds; two aunts, Anna Gray and Mildred Bolden; and a host of cousins, other family, friends, and co-workers.
