On January 18,2022, Ulysses Grant Randolph was called home to be with the Lord. He passed quietly at his home in Farmville, VA. Ulysses "Les" was born on January 8,1952, the baby of 10 children born to Mary and McKinley Randolph Sr.
Ulysses attended Cumberland County Public Schools and at a very young age started working at West Vaco Company for many years until he retired. At a young age he joined Mt Nebo Baptist church. Ulysses was married and leaves to cherish his memories for 49 years to Gertrude Randolph. To this union four children were born. Ulysses is preceded in death by five siblings, Adelaide Smith, Charlie Randolph ,Samuel Randolph, Mary Jane Brooks and Eliza Osborne.
Ulysses leaves to cherish his memories two sons: James Randolph (Gale), Kevin Randolph; two daughters: Jermetra Brown (William), Krisheena Brown (Deshawn). 10 grandkids, Jalen, Kaia, Kiana, Jaleel, Shyheim, Marshawn, Shakayla, Evan, Destinee, Alexus; two step grandkids: Breanna and Tyrese and one loving great grandchild Kamilah. Three loving sisters: Thelma Miles (Robert), Deloris Patterson, and Georgia Miles. One brother: McKinley Randolph Jr. (Nora). Inlaws: Velma Foster (Terry), Ronald Foster, and Reginald Foster. A special cousin, and friend and brother Robert Persall. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a two special nieces, Wilma Word and Cynthia Epps that have always checked up on him and helped him out whenever he needed them.
