William Arvine Obituary

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” ~ Revelation 21:4

On April 6, 2022, our lives were forever changed when William “Keith” Arvine passed away suddenly in Richmond, Virginia. He was 54 years young. Affectionately known to all as “Keith.” In Paterson, New Jersey, he was born to the late William “Willie” and Hildred Arvine. Keith was the youngest of six children and the last baby boy. Raised by his parents, Keith would grow up receiving loving support from his older siblings, who all had a share in looking out for their little brother. Educated in the Passaic County school system, Keith attended Passaic County Technical Vocational school in Wayne, NJ. After graduating he joined the United States Army National Guard where he received an honorable discharge. This was one of his proudest accomplishments. Another of his accomplishments was his membership in St. Michael Lodge #1, where he was a Worthy Patron of Queen Martha Chapter #1 in Hopewell, VA, where he enjoyed spending time with his lodge family. Keith worked multiple tradesman’s positions over the years and most recently was employed by the City of Richmond – Parks, and Recreation department. To say Keith lived life to the fullest is an understatement. He loved and embraced new adventures. This adventurous spirit led to a love of fast cars and motorcycles. His style of dress stood out in the crowd. Keith had a fascination for animals, including dogs, exotic pets like snakes, piranha fish, and an iguana to name a few. He also loved rooting for his favorite team, the New York Giants. Spending time outdoors, fishing, and hanging out with friends at the James River was how Keith liked spending his time. On weekends you could find Keith planting flowers in the front yard, and cutting the grass to give the home he shared with his mom curb appeal. Keith was preceded in death by his siblings: Vernon Booker, Stanley Booker, Denise Wheeler, and Marvin Booker.

Keith is survived by his loving Mother: Hildred Arvine of Richmond, VA; Brother: Lorenzo (Jennifer) Booker of Ashburn, VA; three children: son - Farod Arvine of Paterson, NJ, and daughters: Keshawna Arvine of Paterson, NJ and Terriah Ervin of Paterson, NJ. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless friends.
